Fraud commited by or against a government erodes the foundation of a society. A weak or corrupt public sector cannot exercise legitimate authority over the private sector or individual citizens. That's why helping governments root out fraud is one of JPHI's top priorities.
JPHI provides fraud risk assessments and fraud audits to help governments identify potential fraud, waste, abuse, illegal acts, deficiencies in internal controls, and violations of contract provisions or grant agreements. Once such problems are found, JPHI can help devise and implement a remediation plan.
In addition, JPHI assists governments with detecting false claims and statements, including false claims for government benefits, falsified contractor qualifications, and false financial records. Within the specialized field of contract and procurement fraud, JPHI investigates such schemes as bid-rigging, defective pricing, product substitution, and mischarges.
