About J.P. Hibbard Investigations

As a boutique practice, J.P. Hibbard Investigations (JPHI) delivers detailed, high-quality work product that is tailored to the unique requirements of each case. Unlike many larger competitors, the firm does not churn out a high volume of reports based on standardized templates. The firm's owner, Justin P. Hibbard, devotes personal time and attention to every case that JPHI accepts. He works with a team of proven associates when necessary but never delegates cases to subcontractors or junior employees. These and other promises are listed in the Client's Bill of Rights.

JPHI understands that in addition to quality work product, timeliness and frequent communication are critical in investigations. That's why efficiency and service are among the firm's highest priorities. Most cases are turned around in 21 or fewer days, during which verbal and written updates are provided as frequently as necessary. JPHI manages its cases on a secure server that is accessible to clients through a password-protected Internet connection 24 hours a day, allowing them to upload and download files and track progress of their cases.

About Justin P. Hibbard

Justin P. Hibbard is a licensed private investigator and Certified Fraud Examiner. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994, Mr. Hibbard learned investigative techniques while working as a financial journalist during one of the most corrupt periods in U.S. business history. As a reporter, he was exposed to such frauds as the dot-com IPO frenzy (1999-2000), Enron (2001), Worldcom (2002), the mutual fund scandals (2003-2006), and the subprime mortgage crisis (2004-2006). In 2003, Mr. Hibbard won an award from the American Society of Business Press Editors for his investigation of securities fraud at Envision Development Corp.

These formative experiences gave Mr. Hibbard a thorough understanding of fraud's devastating impact on individuals and society. He entered the private-investigation field to work for justice, educate potential victims, and deter potential perpetrators. He honed his skills working for established investigation agencies while developing his own practice. His clients have included the University of California, the San Francisco Metropolitan Transportation Agency, UPS, and Zurich Insurance. His efforts have led to arrests, have helped shut down fraudulent businesses, and have helped save millions of dollars for clients.
